主要从事暖通空调技术、可再生能源利用技术、蓄能技术、建筑节能的研究。承担包括国家科技部科技支撑计划、重大专项、国家自然科学基金等各类科研课题30余项；获省部级一等奖1项、三等奖2项。获权专利10项；出版专著3部，发表论文100余篇（其中SCI、EI收录50余篇）。主持及设计暖通空调项目百余项，其中地源热泵项目获中国建筑学会优秀设计奖1项，获中国勘察设计协会优秀设计奖1项。
