Profile
Qingguo Lü, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral), is an associate researcher at the School of Computer Science, Chongqing University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Southwest University in 2021, supervised by Prof. Xiaofeng Liao (IEEE/AAIA Fellow and Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, China). He was a postdoctoral fellow in the discipline of computer science and technology at Chongqing University, co-supervised by Prof. Shaojiang Deng (Excellent Talent of the New Century, Ministry of Education, China), and a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University at Qatar, co-supervised by Prof. Ting-Wen Huang (Member of the World Academy of Sciences, Member of the European Academy of Sciences, Fellow of IEEE/AAIA/IAPR, and visiting professor of Yangtze River Scholars, China). He is mainly engaged in research related to distributed optimization theory and algorithms in the context of machine learning, smart grid, privacy security and other applications. He has published more than 50 high-quality academic papers (more than 30 papers in IEEE Transactions series of repertoire) in international high-level journals and conferences, such as IEEE TPDS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TSC, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TSMCS, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TAC, etc., of which more than 30 papers have been published as the first author, corresponding author, etc.; more than 30 papers have been published as the main author. He has published 4 English monographs and applied for more than 10 national and international patents. He has served as guest editor of international journals, such as Complex Engineering Systems and Mathematics, and as a member of the Young Editorial Board of Chongqing University, and has been a reviewer for IEEE TIFS, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TCYB, and IEEE TSMCS, among other prestigious journals for a long period of time. He has presided over a number of national and provincial vertical projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Fund Project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (CPSF) Faceted Project, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation (CQNSF) Faceted Project, Chongqing Postdoctoral Research Project Special Funding (First Class Funding), Central Universities' Fundamental Scientific Research Funding Project, and Provincial and Ministerial Key Laboratories' Open Subject Project. He has participated in the National Key Research and Development Program projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China key projects, and multi-million horizontal projects as a project backbone. He was awarded or honored with the Second Prize of Natural Science of Chongqing Municipality in 2021 (3/4), Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of ACM China in 2021 (Chongqing Chapter), Outstanding Master's Dissertation of Chongqing Municipality in 2019, Outstanding Graduating Student of General Higher Education of Chongqing Municipality in 2018, and Best Presentation Dissertation of EEI 2024, among other awards or honors.
