He also visited universities such as Princeton University, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, the University of Minnesota, the National University of Australia, the University of Queensland, Tamkang University in Taiwan, and Fu Jen University.

Mainly engaged in research on linear models, model selection, financial statistics, statistical calculations, statistical diagnosis, semi parametric models, sparse principal component analysis, support vector selection, text analysis, index tracking, ultra-high dimensional analysis, etc., I have led and undertaken more than 30 scientific research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Doctoral Program Fund of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transportation, the National Bureau of Statistics, the National Immigration Administration, and the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, I have participated in research projects funded by the Science Foundation of the Third World Academy of Sciences in the United States. In 1988, the generalized Kontorovich inequality for trace quotient was established, which successfully solved the bound problem of mean square error ratio efficiency in estimation error theory. In 1994, a comparison of linear estimates under the Pitman criterion was established. In 1996, regularization methods were used to explain the numerical stability of biased estimates. More than 300 academic papers have been officially published both domestically and internationally, with 23 being included in SSCI and over 200 in SCI. As early as 1993, he served as the Chairman of the AMSE International Academic Conference Branch, Vice Chairman of the Reform and Development Branch of Large and Medium sized Enterprises at the First Academic Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, and Chairman of the Main Venue of China's Financial and Economic Statistics to Meet WTO Challenges at the Fourth Academic Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology.
