Runxi Zeng is professor at School of Journalism and Communication, Chongqing University. He received a PhD with Distinction in Public Administration from School of Public Administration, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research draws on Communication and Public Policy, Cyberpsychology, Public Opinion, Media Convergence. His work has been published in the international peer-reviewd journals and Chinese top journals, such as China Information, Chinese Political Science Review, Computers in Human Behavior, Current Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, Journal of Medical Internet Research, Personality and Individual Differences, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Scientific Reports. He was awarded 2 National Social Science Foundation projects and 7 provincial-level projects. He is currently a Guest Associate Editor of Frontiers in Psychology, Article Editor of Sage Open, manuscript reviewers for more than 30 peer reviewed journals, as well as on editorial boards of E-government, Review of Digital Governance. He served as the Vice President of China New Media Communication Association and Assistant Dean of School of Journalism and Communication.
