Liu Pengkun, Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Chongqing University. Selected for the National Youth Talent Project and recognized as an Outstanding Scholar at Chongqing University.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the College of Civil Engineering at Chongqing University in 2017, and obtained his master's degree from the same college in 2020. In 2020, he went to Carnegie Mellon University in the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. After graduating with his doctorate in 2024, he has held positions at Carnegie Mellon University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, focusing on theories and methods for smart construction and operation & maintenance of infrastructure based on human-computer interaction.

He has participated in several important projects, including a sub-project of the Ministry of Science and Technology's key research and development program. He has published over 30 papers indexed by SCI and 15 papers at international conferences.
