Fuqiang Gu is current a Professor in the College of Computer Science, Chongqing University. He obtained his Ph.D from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Before joining the Chongqing University, he subsequently worked at the RWTH-Aachen University, University of Toronto, and National University of Singapore. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals and conferences including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Internet of Things, ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, IJCAI, ICRA, IROS, GLOBECOM. His research interests include positioning and navigation, autonomous systems, SLAM, brain-inspired computing, and deep learning. He is an associate editor of Frontiers in Robotics and AI, and an guest editor of Frontiers in Neurorobotics and Frontiers in Built Environment. He is also a session chair for IPIN 2022, UPINLBS 2022, iThing 2022 and ICGNC 022. He is a member of ACM, IEEE, CCF, and CAAI. He acts as a reviewer for more than 30 journals or conferences such as TMC, TVT, IoT, TWC, TNNLS, PR, COMST, CSUR, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, UbiComp, and GLOBECOM.
