Yuelin LIU, Ph.D. in economics, is an Associate Professor at SEBA, Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. Prior to joining SEBA, he was an economic analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and a Lecturer (Assitant Professor) at Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University.
His research interests include macroeconomics (business cycles, innovation and economic growth), monetary economics, financial economics and time series analysis. He has published research articles at Signal Processing, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economic Inquiry and Economic Research Journal (《经济研究》). He has received research grants from the National Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and served as an anonymous examiner for the National Science Foundation of China.
