2010年获得香港城市大学博士学位。2024年5月至8月，赴加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学（UBC）访问交流，2025年10月赴英国伦敦大学学院（University College London），担任访问学者。研究领域聚焦工程材料多尺度建模、高性能混凝土和复合材料增强机理。研究成果发表于高影响力国际期刊，如Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids、Carbon、European Journal of Mechanics - A/Solids、Construction and Building Materials、Composite Structures，迄今论文总被引用次数超1000次，h-index为15，其中单篇最高被引用逾400次，并入选ESI高被引论文。
