Profile
Xiang Chaocan, Ph. D., Full Professor in the School of Computer Science, Chongqing University. He received his BS and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and engineering from the Nanjing University of Communication Engineering, China, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. In 2017, he studied in the EECS Department of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, U.S.A., for one year, collaborating with the famous Prof. Kang G. Shin (IEEE Life Fellow, ACM Fellow).
His research interests include human-computer interaction with wearable devices and mobile computing with cyber-physical systems. He has published more than 80 papers, including more than 30 high-level papers in CCF A/IEEE/ACM Trans, such as IEEE/ACM TON、IEEE TMC、IEEE TPDS、IEEE ITS、IEEE TVT、ACM TOSN、IEEE INFOCOM、ACM UbiComp. He achieved the best paper awards in Proc. IEEE MSN 2013 and Proc. CCF WSN 2023.
